School Description

Norte Vista High School is located in the central region of Riverside and serves students in grades nine through twelve following a traditional calendar.

Norte Vista High School invites you to visit the campus and witness our strong instructional programs, school safety, appealing facility, and welcoming staff. Understanding our educational program, student achievement, and curriculum development can assist both our school and our school community in ongoing program improvement.

Norte Vista High School is focused on providing all students with the opportunity to achieve. We accommodate individual learning styles while maintaining high, obtainable expectations for students. Norte Vista High School is extremely proud of our rigorous academic programs (IB, AP, and AVID), strong vocational programs (Green Construction Academy, Plant, and Animal Academy, Child Development Pathway, VAPA Pathway, Auto Maintenance, and Light Repair, and Film Production), great athletic programs, and extensive extracurricular activities that actively engage all students and provide a well-rounded educational experience.

Please ask us about our House project. Our House project promotes engagement, participation, strong academics, good attendance, and positive behavior. Students are rewarded in fashion. Paired with our growing PBIS program, the Houses Project has focused on getting students connected to at least one program, pathway, athletic team, or extracurricular activity on campus, to engage every student on campus, and provide them the opportunity to participate in and receive a rich and rigorous academic experience.

Once a Brave, always a Brave!
